It Was Meant to Be

Meet Dr. Aaron Belcher

Dr. Aaron recognizes that many people often view chiropractic as the last resort in their journey toward healing. “Patients often will come in frustrated with physical and emotional pain because they’ve seemingly tried all other conventional options but didn’t get results.” For Dr. Aaron, it’s highly fulfilling to provide effective chiropractic care that in most cases will help these patients.

Chiropractic Education

The moment Dr. Aaron chose to be a chiropractor was about a year after he had earned his bachelor’s. “I was in the gym talking to a guy I went to high school with. His girlfriend was enrolling in chiropractic school. I had planned to go to dentistry or pharmacy school but once I started researching chiropractic and the chiropractic philosophy I was sold!”

Dr. Aaron went to Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. The first class he took as a chiropractic student was on the central nervous system (CNS). “It was taught by Mr. Gale Lewellen. He was so welcoming, such a great professor and it was easy to see that he loved his job. The class was a great introduction to the chiropractic profession.”

Passion For Healthy Living

Irrationally passionate about his health, Dr. Aaron tries to exercise at least 5-6 days per week and feels guilty on his off days. He also aims to mostly “eat clean” every meal of every day.

While he wants to help his patients experience peak physical health through chiropractic care and other healthy lifestyle habits, Dr. Aaron also recognizes that having optimal mental health is equally important.

Hobbies and Family

When he’s not at the practice, Dr. Aaron loves deer hunting, going to the lake with his family, watching UK basketball, working out, and collecting (and drinking) bourbon.

Dr. Aaron treasures his family and his mother, in particular, has had a profound influence on his life.

“My mother is the most caring person I’ve ever met. She was a single mom and instilled in me 99% of the values I still hold today. These include having a strong work ethic and being respectful, compassionate, and dependable. The characteristic I find most fascinating is her ability to be rational and empathetic in all situations. She is always so calm in her decision-making and seemingly always makes the right decision.”
